Insights and Guidance for the Week Ahead

With the New Moon behind us we look forward to doing the work. What did you wish for? what will you be creating? I'd like to hear from you and see what you have planned. I'd be happy to help you see you reach your goals and be successful.

Anyways, to this week's cards. At first sight, ENVY looks like it is going to be dark but it isn't really. The ENVY cards asks us to accept that the obstacles in our way are of our making. Sometimes we pay more attention to the success of others and not enough to the million tiny steps we have been making to come to this point in our lives. We have chosen this life and these circumstances for a reason. Because your story is authentic and your success in life is as authentic as you are.

From ENVY we move to CLEARING TIME. All the negative thoughts that linger in our bodies, our beliefs and our limitations are only there to show us that we can push harder, we can go further. Giving up is not an option. One simple way that helps me clear heavy thoughts is to take a relaxing shower and imagine the water clearing and cleansing my energy field. I start by imagining the water clearing the thoughts while taking short, quick breaths; in through the nose and out through the mouth, as if you're blowing out a candle. Then, when you feel ready, you move on to the next step, which is to imagine the water becoming a green light and healing the open wounds caused by the limiting beliefs. Breathe in deeply, deep into your diaphragm and feel the water cleansing you. The final step is to imagine the water becoming purple and feel your energy field being protected and say a powerful mantra to yourself such as SO HUM. SO HUM is a Hindu mantra, which in Sanskrit means 'I am ONE with Universal Reality'.

It is no surprise that the PAST LIVES card comes into play in this week's reading. Issues that have troubled you in the past may resurface, but they will be put to rest this week. Set aside some peaceful time to meditate this week, perhaps before you go to sleep. Imagine yourself bathed in golden light and ask your angels and spirit guides to help you on your healing journey as you sleep. Be clear in your intention that you want to hear their healing message in your sleep and that you will remember your dream when you wake up. Keeping a dream journal has helped me and others to connect and get clear dream interpretations. Pay attention to any signs or symbols, colours and feelings that may appear in your dreams.

I love this poem IF by Rudyard Kipling and for me it sums up this new week that we are so lucky to be living.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And—which is more—you'll be a Man, my son!
